Overview

We're seeking an experienced MC Local Driver to join our Adelaide team on day shift. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs. Lindsay Transport is Australia's largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. We're part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics, connecting regional communities with key markets across Australia.

Responsibilities
  • Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
  • Temperature Sensitive Freight – understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring safe and timely handling.
  • Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
  • Teamwork & Communication – Working closely with depot teams for loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
  • Good Work Ethic – Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go.
  • Quality Checks & Control – Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.
What You'll Bring
  • Current and valid MC licence.
  • Previous commercial driving experience detailed in your resume.
  • Current BFM, preferred but not essential.
  • A safe driving record; you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety.
  • Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
  • Well presented, professional and reliable.

To be successful for this role
  • Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test.
  • Provide a current traffic print out.
  • Be willing to work weekend shifts and be flexible with start & finish times.
