Senior Business Analyst

Our client is currently seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts for a high-profile project. This is an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals to contribute to significant programs aimed at capability uplift within a major organisation. The initial contract duration is 12 months with the possibility of two 12-month extensions. The role is based in ACT with hybrid working arrangements, requiring candidates to be onsite in Canberra with the potential to work remotely up to three days per week after six months, subject to approval.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing the execution of business process improvements.
  • Analysing and designing business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Developing graphical models of business processes to facilitate understanding and decision-making.
  • Coordinating, analysing, evaluating, and documenting business requirements in line with governance frameworks.
  • Developing high-quality documentation, including data models, business process models, and business requirements.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of project governance and business analysis practices.
  • Participating in the Business Analysis Community of Practice and undertaking official travel as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst with the ability to deliver complex business analysis artefacts.
  • High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Knowledge of the operating environment of the organisation.
  • Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
