About the roleThe Web Content Team Manager is responsible for managing an eight-person team of content leads and content authors who work across the Breville, Sage, Beanz, Baratza, and Lelit global websites. The role is also responsible for roadmap planning, support ticket and promotional calendar management, fortnightly sprint planning and project management. The Web Content Team Manager manages capacity and supports the team to undergo website testing, maintenance and compliance assurance in line with Breville and Sage brand guidelines and WCAG, as well as administration of Breville's website and e-commerce technology systems (PIM, CMS, DAM, Adobe AEM, AWS S3, i18n, Jira/Confluence). A key responsibility includes developing, updating and maintaining team SOPs and documentation, including the Content Team Database in Confluence, with a focus on onboarding, new systems and knowledge sharing. The role coordinates with cross functional teams including Go to Market, Master Data, Technology Services, Data Science and Analytics, Customer Care and our global business teams on day-to-day website activities, web support resolution and larger scale website projects.
Decision Making Authority:
- Without Referral to Manager
- Weekly capacity planning and documentation
- Change to time/resource allocation

- Upload and publish content updates across global websites
- Push product updates to downstream systems and troubleshooting
- Support ticket allocation
- Coordinate content requirements for regional roll outs
- Run team meetings, sprint planning sessions and retrospective ceremonies
After Consultation with Manager or Senior Stakeholders
- Change to systems and processes (i.e. consult with technology teams, business analysts, product owners, project managers)
- Change to agreed deadlines and deliverables on projects, promotions and product launches
- Host stand-up and remove blockers for each team member
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to allocate resources and execute key deliverables
- Troubleshoot content and system related issues
- Team discussion on current projects - including ticket status, deadlines, issues and blockers
Web Content Team Manager: Responsibilities include managing a multi-site content team, roadmap planning, ticket and promotional calendar management, sprint planning, capacity planning, website testing, maintenance and compliance with brand guidelines and WCAG, admin of CMS/ DAM / PIM / i18n / Jira/Confluence, and maintaining SOPs and Confluence documentation. Coordinate with Go to Market, Master Data, Technology Services, Data Science and Analytics, Customer Care and global teams on day-to-day activities and larger projects.
Key AccountabilitiesWeb Content Management
- Deploy and manage content across global websites with accuracy and on-brand presentation, optimized for online
- Ensure product assortment, content and associations are correctly displayed and ordered
- Manage web assets via DAM and shared network folders
- Execute content rollouts per GTM calendar (copy translations, image editing, review)
- Assist in SEO implementation and ongoing content governance
- Maintain global content roadmap and coordinate subtasks across Content, Salesforce and Digital Technology teams
- Deliver homepage and product content updates and ensure 100% data integrity and accessibility considerations
- Content quality: on-brand visuals, accurate product data, optimized for mobile and accessibility
- SEO improvements and promotions timeliness
- Content deployment within go-live dates and GTM guidelines
Website Testing & Maintenance
- Conduct content audits for brand, GDPR and policy compliance
- Run WCAG AA checks and UAT testing via Jira
- Ensure 100% sign-off from GTM and Legal on copy; 100% accessibility and QA compliance
- Validate new features end-to-end and ensure successful implementation
Website & Systems Project Execution
- Create and track stories and bugs in Jira; coordinate with Technology Services for feature delivery
- Execute web campaigns/projects with vendors
- Deliver new features/enhancements on time; manage vendor campaigns
Web Support Ticket Resolution (SLA)
- Manage Content Team Jira board; prioritize and action tickets per SLA
- Coordinate stakeholder communications to resolve issues
- Monitor queue for aged/high-priority tickets
- Maintain organized board; high SLA resolution and response rates
People Management & Fostering a World-Class Environment
- Track monthly achievements; conduct 1:1s and team meetings
- Maintain SOPs and Confluence Content Team database; coordinate training
- Improved visibility and timely delivery; stronger documentation usability; higher training completion

Selection Criteria
- Minimum 3 years managerial experience (teams of 4+)
- Tertiary qualifications
- Experience with CMS (editing, upload, review)
- Experience with ERPs, CRMs, DAMs, PIM/MDM
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience with e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of WCAG and digital content best practices
