About the Role

As an AHP1 New Graduate Physiotherapist within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality physiotherapy services across facilities including the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and Repat Health Precinct. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and wellbeing, utilising your clinical skills in diverse healthcare settings.

You will also be part of the Physiotherapy discipline's educational programs, quality improvement initiatives, and service planning activities. Through collaboration and professional development, you'll help drive innovation and improve clinical outcomes while growing your expertise in a supportive environment. CALHN Physiotherapy New Graduate Program

The 12-month CALHN Physiotherapy program offers new graduates the chance to rotate through multiple clinical areas across CALHN sites, including the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct. This program provides exposure to various clinical settings such as acute inpatients, rehabilitation, subacute, and ambulatory care, fostering professional growth in a structured environment.

About You

You are a motivated and compassionate physiotherapist with the skills, adaptability, and clinical knowledge to thrive in a busy hospital setting. Your commitment to patient-centred care, teamwork, and professional growth makes you a strong fit for this role.

Qualified and registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, with a sound understanding of clinical best practices and safety.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work ethically across multidisciplinary teams and diverse patient groups.

Physically capable and reliable, with flexibility to meet manual handling demands and contribute to 7-day service delivery, including weekends and public holidays.

Organised and proactive, with good time management, accurate record-keeping, and a willingness to learn and respond to feedback.
