Retail Salesperson

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused full-time Sales Team Member (an AV + IT super star) to join our dynamic team at our busy O'Connor store. As a key member of our team, you'll play an essential role in delivering an outstanding shopping experience through top-tier customer service, expert product knowledge, and driving sales. What you'll be doing

1. Selling - assisting customers with product selection, demonstrating features, and closing sales
2. Providing friendly and attentive customer service to ensure customers have a positive shopping experience
3. Maintaining product displays and store presentation to the highest standards
4. Accurately processing sales transactions and handling cash and payments
5. Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
6. Supporting the team in completing other retail store duties as required

What we're looking for

1. Permanent work rights in Australia (NB. we are not an approved business sponsor and therefore unable to sponsor applicants)
2. Previous experience in a sales role
3. Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends, late night trading and school holidays
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner
5. Strong product knowledge and the ability to match customer needs with the right products
6. Numerical skills and the ability to accurately handle cash and process sales transactions
7. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with others
8. Ability to lift a minimum of 15kgs as part of your daily duties
9. Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
10. A valid current Western Australian Driver's Licence
11. Police Clearance (less than 2 months old)
12. Demonstrated understanding of workplace, health and safety
