Overview

Cosmic Cocktails & Events is Perth's award winning Cocktail Party Specialist, catering to a wide range of events such as Birthdays, Corporate Events, Hens Nights, and Weddings. We provide everything needed for a memorable event, including Mobile Juice Bars, Cocktail and Beverage Service, Platter Catering, Frozen Cocktail Machines, Jukeboxes, and Chocolate Fountains for hire. Our offerings also include Party and Event Hire products like chairs, tables, red carpet, and bollards.

Role Description

This is a casual, off-site role for a Bartender/Wait Staff position for Cosmic Cocktails & Events, working in various locations throughout Perth. Duties may include setting up the bar, preparing and serving beverages including mixing cocktails, washing glasses and equipment, food heating, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with the team to provide an exceptional guest experience. Our staff also pop and serve popcorn, scoop out Gelato, operate our Chocolate Fountains, assist with our Donut Wall and have fun. This role is perfect for students and 2nd job applicants. Full training provided and a uniform is supplied per event.

Responsibilities
  • Set up the bar and assist with beverage service, including cocktail preparation and serving
  • Wash glasses and equipment and maintain a clean work area
  • Assist with food heating and event-related tasks as required
  • Operate attractions such as Chocolate Fountains, Gelato scooping, popcorn service, and Donut Wall
  • Collaborate with the team to provide an exceptional guest experience
  • Attend events at various locations throughout Perth
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and ensure responsible service of alcohol
Qualifications
  • A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in bartending and food service is not required as training is provided
  • Experience in Food & Beverage services is a bonus
  • A driver's licence and vehicle or other transport options
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in event settings and hospitality is a plus
  • Available for short shifts – typical 3 to 5 hours
  • Available for Friday and Saturday evenings
