Project Engineer

Due to continued market growth, we are seeking the servicesof a talented Project Engineer to work within the Sydney project team, delivering large scale commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise and work collaboratively with the Project Manager, project team and client.
• Coordinate, plan and deliver specific project deliverables.
• Be involved / work with various subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Cost management including identifying/capturing variations for design/site/scope changes, along with budget estimating and reporting.
• Programming, scheduling and sequencing of works / resources in production and construction activities.
• Working with designers in coordination, value management and design development.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum two year's experience as a Project Engineer within the commercial space
• Experience in Structural Steel within Australia is preferred
• Experience in commercial building construction in a similar role.
• Ability to accurately read and understand engineering/design documents.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient on Microsoft Office.
• Good analytical and attention to detail skills.
• Previous experience managingsub-contractorswitha focus on OHS, programming, quality, supervision and contracts administration.
