We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Public Areas Attendant to join our vibrant team at Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Convention Centre. Our resort combines laid-back coastal luxury with playful charm. With over 370 stylish rooms, a sparkling pool, a lagoon for water sports, and a variety of dining options, there's always something happening across the property. Our world-class Convention Centre hosts up to 1,500 guests and is a sought-after destination for major Australian and international conferences and events. As part of the globally recognised Accor Group, we're proud to deliver memorable stays and genuine guest care. We're looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented to help maintain the high standard of presentation across our public spaces, creating a clean, welcoming environment for every guest, every day.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Cleaning and maintaining public and back-of-house areas in line with hotel standards
  • Supporting stocktakes and ensuring proper use and storage of cleaning products
  • Following all safety and hygiene procedures when handling cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Assisting with housekeeping tasks including room cleaning, houseman duties, laundry, and uniform areas
  • Responding to guest and team member requests promptly and professionally
Qualifications
  • A positive, friendly attitude with a strong focus on guest service
  • Physically fit and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining presentation standards
  • Flexible and reliable, with availability to work across a rotating seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
