About the role

Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for providing exceptional customer service? We are seeking a Customer Service Administrative Officer to join the Customer Service Branch of Transperth Train Operations (TTO). In this dynamic role, you will coordinate business improvements and purchasing while also supporting the Assistant Manager Customer Service in managing customer feedback and complaint resolution. Additionally, you will be the key point of contact for coordinating group bookings across the suburban rail network.

As part of your responsibilities, you will assist in maintaining and updating operational procedures, managing administrative databases, and supporting special projects. You will also oversee purchasing and invoicing for the Customer Service Branch, liaise with suppliers, and ensure uniform and equipment needs are met. With a strong focus on customer service, you will coordinate group bookings, process lost property claims, and contribute to enhancing the passenger experience on Transperth trains.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong experience in administrative support, office procedures, procurement, and accounts processing.
  • Commitment to quality service, with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively at all levels.
  • The ability to research, interpret, analyse, and communicate information effectively.
  • The ability to manage tasks accurately while meeting operational deadlines.
  • Proven competency in using Microsoft Office and other relevant office systems.

There is a permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
