About the role :

As a qualified Exercise Scientist, you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, providing on-site and potentially home-based exercise services. You will help establish our new Braybrook Allied Health and Wellness Centre, delivering individual and group exercise programs aimed at maximizing independence and autonomy for older adults.

About you :

You are passionate, committed to best practice, and eager to make a positive impact on older adults' lives by enhancing their self-esteem and empowerment. This role can be part-time or full-time.

We are looking for individuals with :

  • ESSA accreditation as an Exercise Scientist
  • Experience in physical assessments, care plan development, and clinical interventions
  • Experience running group exercise programs, including strength, balance, Pilates (reformer & floor-based), Yoga, and Tai Chi. Training support is available for suitable candidates.
  • Experience in Aged Care or Community Sectors (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills
