ICT Contracts and Vendor Officer | Canberra | 6 months initial contract, potential extension

About the Role
As an ICT Contracts and Vendor Officer, you will oversee multiple ICT contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements. Your role will drive strategic alignment and performance in ICT procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage multiple ICT contracts
  • Manage existing IT vendors and address non-performance
  • Lead complex contractual negotiations and conduct market research
  • Prepare and manage contracts with ICT vendors
  • Provide high-level support, advice, and reports on procurement and contract management
  • Maintain the highest degree of probity and discretion in procurement

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Contracts and Vendor management
  • Experience in government procurement
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and anticipate risks
  • Resilient, adaptable, and a team player

Qualifications
Relevant experience in government procurement
