Who is TeamKids?

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage, and entertain children before school, after school, and during school holidays.

Job Description

This permanent, full-time opportunity offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: Laidley, QLD

You'll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

  • Before School Care: 6:00am to 9:00am
  • After School Care: 2:15pm to 6:30pm

As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about childcare and leadership, ready to make a meaningful impact on the children, parents, and team.

Involved: Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.

Innovation: Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the children's preferences.

Genuine: Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.

Fun: Play and have fun with primary school-aged children.

Remarkable: Support ensuring your program complies with industry regulations.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Previous experience in Before and After School Care or education is preferred but not essential — we can train you
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a big kid at heart
  • Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
  • Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun
