The opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity is currently available for a talented, Senior Control Systems Engineer with a solid understanding of control systems to join our growing Newcastle team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consultation with clients to establish requirements and scope of works
  • Taking a leading role in the design, development, implementation and commissioning of high quality solutions that meet or exceed our customers' requirements
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and on schedule
  • Providing on-going support to our customers
  • Supporting and driving a HSEQ centric culture within the company

Experience and Skills:

  • At least five years demonstrated Control Systems Engineering experience in Water Wastewater or other Heavy Industry
  • Client focused mentality with good communication skills
  • Experience with PLC/SCADA and Telemetry, specifically GeoSCADA and PlantSCADA
  • Experience with industrial communications including wired or wireless networks
  • Current Australian Driving Licence

The successful applicant will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related degree
  • Experience in the programming of control systems.
