Customer Service Representative - Sydney

Based in Sydney, Australia. Responsible for cultivating customer relationships for current/potential customers by utilizing excellent knowledge of products, capabilities, as well as CRM processes and procedures. Accountable for a full spectrum of customer service activities involved in the Quote to Cash process (up to and including order shipment, invoicing or handover).

Key responsibilities

• Pre-order: prepare sales quotations using SAP or pricing tool, perform lead-time checks, liaise with other teams to respond to customer inquiries.
• Work with Customers and Sales Team to understand products and services and meet customer needs.
• Coordinate with Materials Management/Operations to anticipate projects, timelines, and scheduling issues.
• Order Management: process purchase orders, sample/return requests; manage order entry, acknowledgements, change notifications, and shipment until delivery.
• Identify shipments at risk of delay and proactively expedite with Planners; monitor shipment schedules for timely delivery per incoterms.
• Hold regular reviews with customers to discuss backlogs and issues; process rebates, stock returns as approved by Product Line Management.
• Participate in ongoing training and provide back-up support to peers; develop and maintain constructive relationships with customers, prospects, colleagues and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business or related discipline with at least 3 years in Customer Service or Order Fulfilment.
• Knowledge or experience with SAP preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused demeanor.
• Team player capable of adapting to a fast-paced environment.
