The OpportunityWe're seeking both a Senior Contract Administrator and Contract Administrator to play integral roles on a flagship projects ranging from $150M - $300M across various locations in Sydney.
You'll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with experienced project Directors and Project Managers, Site Managers, and Engineers—contributing to the delivery of a major project while developing your career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities- Contract Management: Administer and oversee construction contracts in line with project goals and compliance requirements.
- Cost Control: Manage budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to manage expectations, resolve disputes, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records including variations, progress claims, and contract correspondence.
- Tender Process: Assist with the preparation, issuing, and evaluation of tender documents.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the broader delivery team to ensure timely and efficient contract administration.
Senior Contract Administrator
- Minimum 5-8 years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in a Senior CA role
- Strong background on large-scale mid-tier commercial & residential projects
- Proven leadership in contract management, budget oversight, and subcontractor negotiations
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry
- Solid understanding of contracts, project financials, and construction methodology
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Commercial or residential experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in project management and construction management software
