Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Cities are getting smarter, and someone has to build the tech that makes it happen. That's us. We build systems that actually get deployed in real environments, the kind that help Cities manage fair parking systems, enable remote compliance monitoring, and make school zones safer for kids.

This role is ideal for an engineer who cares about building robust, secure software, enjoys solving technical problems, and values product-driven thinking, not just writing code. You'll be part of a small, collaborative team where technical voices are heard, good engineering practices are respected. You're trusted to manage your own time and responsibilities, no micromanagement here.

What Your Days Will Look Like:

• Build software that runs in real-world environments, supporting systems that Cities rely on daily.
• Work on building secure, scalable software including web apps, mobile apps, APIs, and backend services for real-world systems deployed both in the cloud and on-premises.
• Work on complex system logic, including decision trees, rule engines, and configurable workflows to handle real-world scenarios.
• Develop full-stack features, from backend logic to frontend UI, creating practical, user-friendly solutions.
• Apply strong security, privacy, and DevSecOps practices across everything you build.
• Automate software delivery and infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), making deployments fast and reliable.
• You're encouraged to write unit tests, automated tests, and regression tests as part of your work, and be comfortable working across different programming languages.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design system architecture, tackle technical problems, and deliver robust, high-performance software.
• Continuously work on improving system stability, performance, and observability through automation and smart monitoring.
• Stay hands-on with modern software tools, AI-assisted development techniques, and cloud technologies, always learning and experimenting with better ways to build software.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years building secure, scalable systems
• Full stack expertise (backend services, APIs, frontend UI)
• Proficiency with .NET backend and React frontend is highly preferred, with the flexibility to work with other languages and tech stacks as needed.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure preferred)
• DevSecOps mastery
• CI/CD, IaC, monitoring)
• Strong SQL and database experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Product mindset and customer-first thinking - you think about users and outcomes, not just code.
