Campaign Coordinator (Appeals & Acquisition)

A newly created role supporting the growth of ADA's Individual Giving program by coordinating multi-channel fundraising campaigns and donor journeys.

Assistance Dogs Australia trains and places unique dogs with Australians in unique situations.

They train dogs that support people with disabilities, autism, or PTSD, and provide services to these individuals and their families.

Their free-to-client Assistance Dogs promote independence, self-esteem, health, and stronger communities.

Receiving no government funding, ADA relies on philanthropy, and this is your chance to support their vital work.

Impact in this role

Support delivery and optimisation of multi-channel fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, and telemarketing.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution, timeliness, and budget adherence.

Manage campaigns to drive acquisition, retention, and lifetime value, monitoring performance and ROI with support from Data & Insights.

This hands-on role offers ownership, skill development, and meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate multi-channel fundraising campaigns (cash appeals, raffles, regular giving).
  2. Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including timelines, creative, data checks, briefings, approvals, copywriting, and graphic design.
  3. Collaborate on data selections, imports/exports, and process documentation.
  4. Manage relationships with agencies and suppliers.
  5. Monitor campaign performance, report, analyze, and support optimisation.
  6. Oversee invoice processing and reconciliation.
  7. Assist with email and SMS communications via Marketing Cloud.
  8. Test and evaluate strategies to improve supporter recruitment and retention.
  9. Provide administrative support for fundraising operations.
  10. Contribute insights and sector trend analysis for program improvement.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in direct marketing, preferably in NFP, with appeals, acquisition, or digital campaigns.
  • Ability to support and execute full campaign cycles, from concept to reporting.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce preferred), Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing relationships with agencies and suppliers.
  • Ability to track KPIs, analyze outcomes, and manage data effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High accuracy and proactive problem-solving.
  • Passion for the impact of assistance animals on people with disabilities.
