Successful and expanding ASX-listed service provider is recruiting for a Finance Integration Manager.

The company boasts a nationwide footprint driven by strong strategic acquisitional growth. Due to the ongoing success of the organization, they are now looking to recruit a Finance Integration Manager.

This role will report to the GM Finance and manage the integration of financial systems and processes for newly acquired businesses. You will ensure a seamless transition to efficient financial operations and accurate reporting within our combined organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial integration for acquisitions, including:
    • Data migration
    • System integration
    • Harmonizing charts of accounts
    • Internal control assessments
    • Financial reporting transitions
    • Consolidating group tax and insurance
  • Prepare high-quality financial and management reports
  • Provide technical accounting and financial support to the GM Finance and business partners

Key Duties:

  • Manage relationships with external advisors for M&A-related activities (e.g., Completion Accounts, acquisition accounting)
  • Prepare and maintain acquisition accounting documentation for the Group
  • Maintain asset valuation models and conduct impairment assessments per accounting standards
  • Assist with monthly management reports, including commentary
  • Support the preparation of annual and semi-annual financial statements, including ASX reporting obligations
  • Review and streamline accounting policies and balance sheet reconciliations across the Group
  • Aid in managing external audit requirements and preparing technical accounting papers
  • Assist with designing and monitoring internal controls to ensure consistency across the Group

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in M&A and acquisition accounting
  • Chartered accounting firm training
  • 6+ years post-CPA/CA qualification experience
  • Strong technical expertise in accounting standards and ASX reporting
  • Experience in Group audit and financial statement preparation
  • Background in an ASX-listed organization
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Experience with large ERP systems (Dynamics, NetSuite)
