Location: Nelson Point, Port Hedland (FIFO from Perth or Residential)

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off

Employment Type: Contractor

Accommodation: Permanent room at Port Haven Camp

About the Role: We are seeking a highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join Track Renewals team based at Nelson Point, Port Hedland. In this fast-paced role, you will oversee the logistics operations that support critical rail infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage truck drivers and stores personnel handling project material deliveries
  2. Coordinate transport and fleet allocations
  3. Oversee inventory ordering and stock control
  4. Ensure cost control and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  5. Liaise with multiple stakeholders to support project delivery

About You:

  1. Experience: Logistics or stores experience required; rail experience is advantageous but not essential
  2. Skills: Strong organisational skills, ability to manage competing priorities, stakeholder management, and problem-solving in a dynamic environment
  3. Advantageous: Knowledge of the BHP rail network

Team & Reporting Structure: You will report to the Maintenance and Logistics Supervisor and be part of a team of five, including a back-to-back Logistics Coordinator and back-to-back Maintenance Coordinators.
