PERSOL is currently recruiting several Payroll Officers for short term contracts to work with various State Government agencies. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth processing of payroll and delivering exceptional customer service.   • Short Term contracts
  • Monday - Friday, Full time hours
  • $37.63 per hour - $39 per hour + Superannuation
Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officers. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth processing of payroll and delivering exceptional customer service. If you have a knack for numbers, a passion for problem-solving, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

The Role
  • Accurately process pay files and support the end-to-end execution of payroll-related tasks.
  • Develop a broad range of payroll skills
  • Investigate and resolve complex payroll queries with a customer-focused approach.
  • Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email, ensuring timely and helpful responses.
About You
  • Experience with payroll is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Chris21 is a plus.
  • Experience in customer service, particularly in a call center environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel (Intermediate level).
  • Experience with data entry, with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must Hold a Police clearance within 12 months
