About This Role

Casual Radiographer / Mammographer – East Melbourne

I-MED Radiology's Central Region has exciting opportunities for highly experienced, qualified Radiographers /Mammographers to join our team on a casual basis at our East Melbourne clinic.

East Melbourne Radiology is a hospital-based clinic that provides a highly specialised breast imaging service, utilising cutting-edge equipment. You will work alongside a team of skilled professionals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About The Role

As a Radiographer / Mammographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, accurate medical imaging services with a strong focus on patient care. You will work collaboratively with specialist referrers, radiologists, sonographers, nursing staff, receptionists, and hospital stakeholders.

Some shifts may also include breast screen work at our Caulfield clinic. A commitment to training and quality control is essential, and CPM experience will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X-Ray, CT, MRI, and Mammography.
• Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers.
• Promoting and upholding the highest quality and safety standards.

What You Need

• Current relevant Radiography Radiation Licence and professional registration.
• Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff.
• Previous experience in MR and Mammography is advantageous but not essential.
