Overview

One of our clients in the Charlotte area is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for testing applications through various testing phases, including unit, defect, functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT). The QA Analyst will develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts, and will define, collect, and document data for testing. This role operates in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team.

Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing standards and methodologies
  • Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders, ensuring all testing results are easily accessible
  • Create framework components and reusable functions for automation and performance testing
Experience Required
  • Experience working in the specific industry related to the position to understand industry-specific challenges and practices.
  • Hands-on experience with relevant tools, software, or technologies that are essential for the role
  • Experience in planning, executing, and managing projects, including the ability to meet deadlines, manage resources, and handle project risks
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and make decisions
Educational Background
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is often required
  • 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, including writing and executing test cases and test scripts
