$98,045 to $110,612 plus 15.4% superannuation

About the Role

Policy, Programs and Engagement Division: Embark on a career with our Policy Programs and Engagement Division, a hub of excellence that drives national programs and portfolio priorities. The Partnerships Lead, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Digital Health, acts as a direct point of contact between key stakeholders across the digital health ecosystem in the provision of contract management and administration, and will provide support and coordination to critical partnership projects in the portfolio. A key requirement will be a deep understanding of the preferred models of engagement with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, and the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Exciting project initiatives that will fall within the responsibilities of the position are:

  • Increasing the adoption and use of My Health Record and electronic prescribing with stakeholders across Australia
  • Working with stakeholders to improve the foundations of digital health to better serve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
  • Support the development of a Digital Health Literacy Plan for the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation sector

Project related responsibilities will include:

  • Develop briefing papers to support Agency leadership meetings with the indigenous health sector
  • Provide valuable input into how the Agency could increase our partnerships across the indigenous health sector

What You'll Bring

The position will require:

  • A knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples;
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

In addition, the successful candidate will hold:

  • Tertiary qualifications commensurate with the duties of the role (or relevant experience)
  • In-depth understanding of the Australian Health Care sector
  • Experience in relationship management
  • Sound understanding of business principles and contract management

  • Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required by the Agency.
