Randstad is delighted to partner with one of Australia's leading defence primes, BAE Systems, who are recruiting experienced Boilermakers for major naval shipbuilding programs in Osborne, SA.

This permanent, full-time position is a great opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager to grow their career and make a valuable contribution to the defence shipbuilding industry.

Duties

You will be working in the most advanced and modern shipbuilding hub in Australia, constructing world-class naval vessels as part of the Hunter Class Frigate Program.

  • Working as part of a fabrication team to complete new and repair work on naval ships
  • MIG welding on Mild steel and some Flux Core welding
  • Pipe welding and structural welding as required
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications
  • Adhering to strong safety procedures and requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Fabrication with MIG or Flux Core Welding
