WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Join our General Services team at Strathalbyn as a Services Assistant, responsible for providing timely, efficient, and effective services, including catering, laundry, and cleaning of the health unit. Duties may include food preparation, service, delivery to clients, and general housekeeping.

Contracts available :
  • Temporary part-time, 32 hours/week, up to 3 months - Strathalbyn Aged Care
  • Ongoing part-time (hours negotiable, multiple positions) - Strathalbyn Hospital

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
  • Support duties: food prep, cleaning, laundry, stock handling
  • Operate equipment safely, following infection control and WHS standards
  • Assist patients, clients, and staff respectfully, maintaining confidentiality and cultural safety
  • Participate in training, quality improvement, and service enhancements
  • Work rotating shifts including mornings, afternoons, and nights, seven days a week
