Personal Care Assistant - Evanston Park Night Shift

Location: Eldercare Evanston Park, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

About The Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care that helps residents live each day with dignity and joy. You'll follow personalised care plans and offer respectful support with:

  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Daily living tasks and mobility assistance
  • Emotional wellbeing and companionship
  • Creating a warm, inclusive, and positive care environment
Hours and Location

Night Shift – 23:00 to 07:00

Days: Week 1 – Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday; Week 2 – Thursday, Sunday, Tuesday

What You'll Bring
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Aged Care – or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience in an aged care environment
  • Willing to work Night Shifts
  • A genuine passion for aged care and enhancing quality of life
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Respectful, compassionate, resident-first approach

Police clearance valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) must be less than 12 months since issue date.

As per Eldercare's Immunisation Policy, all employees are required to:

  • Be vaccinated against seasonal influenza by no later than 1 June each year
  • Be vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current ATAGI guidelines
