Tax Advisory & Consulting Director - Opportunity at Fast-Growing Top 30 Firm

Incredible opportunity for a knowledgeable and competent Tax Consulting Director who loves to work on challenging and novel tax matters for one of the fastest growing accounting firms in Sydney & nationally, serving prestigious listed and large private clients.

THE ROLE

A well-established Top 30 CA firm in Sydney is seeking a Tax Consulting and Advisory Director to service its expanding tax practice. You will provide specialised tax advice, build strong client relationships, and leverage the firm's extensive professional network. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of delivering results in tax advisory services and excellent client relationship skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • CA/CPA qualified; Masters of Tax preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • At least 7 years of recent Australian experience in broad corporate taxation, ideally in a mid- or top-tier firm, with knowledge of tax legislation, SME CGT concessions, tax controversy, M&A tax implications, tax effect accounting, GST, and transfer pricing.
  • Strong research skills and ability to apply facts effectively.
  • Proven ability to maintain excellent client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Track record of developing new business through existing networks or referrals.
  • Positive attitude, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Right to work in Australia (Australian/NZ citizen or PR).
