Store Business Manager

Store Business Manager role at Officeworks. The successful candidate will join our team at the Pakenham store, bringing a proven track record in retail management and a collaborative leadership style to foster a safe, positive culture.
About The RoleYou will inspire your team to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for customers. You will develop a strong understanding of your store team and provide coaching and development opportunities, including training in safety and leading from the front in terms of workplace health and safety. You will ensure store operations are managed effectively to deliver outstanding results, maximise sales and profit, and manage expenses according to budget.
Responsibilities- Inspire and develop the store team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Coach and provide development opportunities; drive safety training and a culture of workplace health and safety.
- Manage store operations to achieve sales and profit targets while controlling expenses.
- Lead by example to create a fun, positive, and safe store environment.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a senior retail management role with 30+ direct report staff as a minimum.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Flexible availability across our span of hours.
- A strong understanding of various Retail Operations.
- Experience working to KPIs and budgets.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated people leadership and safety management.
