Role

They are currently seeking an Account Director to join their high performance sales team in Melbourne. Emphasis is on new business development into a portfolio of existing tier 1 ASX listed top 500 organisations. A solution seller and problem solver with a new business hunter approach is paramount

Key responsibilities
  • New business development - grow existing footprint and win new pockets of work within existing customer base using multi-threading approach
  • Protect, retain and grow share of wallet within your customer base
  • Identify business pain points using insights led approach to sales
  • Assess market opportunities
  • Achievement of new business sales targets
  • Effective territory management
  • Representation at industry events
  • Internal and external key stakeholder management
  • Development of strategic account plans
  • Commercial and legal contractual negotiations – RFP's, RFI's & RFT's
  • Extensive track record of sales achievement in a solutions-focused B2B software sales environment (data applications, data integration tools, analytics and AI data driven cloud solutions favourable)
  • Proven history selling to ASX listed top 500 companies
  • Proven new business hunting and relationship management skills
  • Structured sales approach / methodology – formal training
  • Expert at managing short and long sales cycles with deals from $50,000 into the millions
  • Experience of selling at CxO level down – multiple business buyers and personas
  • Gravitas, resilience and "grit"
