About the PositionWe're looking for a strategic and experienced Project Manager to lead a major campus development in the Cairns CBD. You will manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and completion, operating in a client-side role. Read more about the project here .
You will oversee stakeholder engagement, procurement, contract administration, and risk management, while coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

- Demonstrated experience leading major infrastructure projects (>$50M) through all phases—from design and tendering to construction, commissioning, and completion.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including funding bodies, councils, consultants, and contractors to achieve project outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of project management frameworks, with strong capabilities in scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of legislative requirements, including the Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, and local authority regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, submissions, and tenders, and to negotiate effectively in complex stakeholder environments.
