We're looking for a Mechanical Technician/Diesel Fitter based in Townsville, servicing the QLD area.

What you'll do:

  • Respond to major mechanical component failure escalations
  • Carry out regular servicing, major component changes, and repairs in the depot and field
  • Carry out advanced troubleshooting of diesel engines
  • Implementation of field campaigns as required
  • Ensure the completion of major repairs are on time, to standard, and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets
  • Occasional overnight service runs

You'll have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as Diesel Fitter
  • Qualified Mechanic with Australian mechanic's license
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Forklift License an advantage
  • MR Truck License an advantage
  • Computer literate
