Laboratory Technician

As a Laboratory Technician based in Koolan Island you will be responsible for the quality of preparation and analysis of designated samples during your shift. This is a FIFO positions with a 2&1 roster.

Some other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Understand the processes of sample preparation and analysis of samples by XRF.
• Day to day upkeep of analytical and sample preparation equipment.
• Delivery of quality samples to both internal and external customers.
• Understand assay methods and recognition of sample types.

The successful person will have:

• Experience in a similar laboratory environment.
• Experience in sample preparation.
• Laboratory based qualification or similar, in a related field preferred.
