Overview

Bathurst Regional Council is seeking two casual Visitor Experience Team Members to join the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC). This role supports guest experiences across live shows, functions and special events, helping create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for every visitor.

About the role

At BMEC, the Visitor Experience Team Member is part of the overall customer experience. You may greet guests, serve at the bar, assist with events and help deliver energy, excitement and comfort that makes BMEC an entertainment destination. This casual role is ideal for someone looking to pick up extra hours in a vibrant, fast-paced environment across live shows, functions and events.

Key Requirements
  • A genuine passion for customer service and creating great guest experiences
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service
  • Willingness to obtain a valid NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) if you don't already have one
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional presentation
  • Reliable and available for flexible hours including weekdays, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and school/university breaks
  • Physically able to assist with event setup and pack-down
  • Comfortable handling cash and EFTPOS transactions

This position requires a pre-employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug & alcohol screen.

Details

Hourly Rate: $35.37 per hour + weekend / public holiday penalty rates + super

Position Status: Casual

Hours of work: As required
