About the Role

The Assistant in Nursing supports the nursing team in the delivery of nursing care in accordance with the nursing care plan, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role is based in the Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) model, which integrates acute care, emergency, respite and palliative care, and allied, primary and community health services in smaller communities.

Locations are four rural sites: Bonalbo, Kyogle, Nimbin and Urbenville.

Support the nursing team in delivering care in accordance with the care plan under RN supervision.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Current Australian work rights
  • Ability to independently, legally live and work in Australia (citizen or permanent resident) or other permissible status
