To manage the operational delivery of career education projects and programs, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, supporting schools in transition planning, and driving continuous improvement in career education through stakeholder engagement, policy development, and program delivery.

The Team

The Learning Pathways Team undertakes high-level, strategic policy development and implementation to support Education International, vocational learning initiatives in schools, career and life planning for young people and VET in schools, all with a common focus on improving retention and attainment rates for Tasmanian children and young people. The team are responsible for the strategic, tactical and operational management of initiatives and programs that meet compliance obligations, legislative requirements, government direction, national imperatives and state priorities for Learning Pathways.

About the Role

To manage the operational delivery of career education projects and programs, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, supporting schools in transition planning, and driving continuous improvement in career education through stakeholder engagement, policy development, and program delivery.

We are offering:

  • 73.5hours per fortnight

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

About You

  • Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) with a registration Status – Employment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
