With our fleet of Boeing 737 FIRELINERS, Hercules C130, Citation and King Air fire support platforms, CH47D Chinooks, UH60 Blackhawks and Bell 412 helicopters, we provide rapid response capabilities using aviation assets.
Coulson Aviation Australia operate and manage New South Wales Rural Fire Service-owned aircraft in all aspects of maintenance, fleet support systems and management, and operating personnel. Our teams perform aerial firefighting missions, transport flights, intelligence and scanning missions, disaster mitigation, search and rescue operations, and related activities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are currently recruiting Licensed Aviation Maintenance Engineers, AME's and Apprentices to be part of the Fixed and Rotary Wing locations in Richmond and Bankstown NSW.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify problems, conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, and repair components as required.
- Document maintenance activities and ensure that work sheets, logs, tracking updates and other required records are complete and submitted in a timely manner.
- Be responsible for tool control and the general condition, upkeep and housekeeping of any hangar, workshop or related work areas and vehicles.
- Participate in on-the-job and external training programs as required.
- Nurture a safe working culture and compliance with our Safety Management System and other company documentation.
- Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience disassembling, diagnosing, repairing or overhauling mechanical components
- Advanced Technical Writing Skills
- Above average computer skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to read and interpret printed instruction and/or drawings
- Previous experience using Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP)
