Lead the Charge in Offshore LNG Excellence We're looking for a seasoned Hookup and Commissioning Manager to bring expertise, leadership and drive to a high-impact 18 month fixed-term contract based out of Perth, Western Australia. This is a rare opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of industry professionals on a cutting-edge offshore LNG project.

This role will include an initial mobilisation to Singapore ahead of the offshore phase, followed by an even-time roster of 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off - giving you balance while being part of a world-class operation.

About the Role

In this high-impact leadership role, you'll work hand-in-hand with the Project Manager to steer the hook-up and commissioning phase of our offshore portfolio. Your influence will be central to ensuring seamless integration across all disciplines - from piping, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation - through every stage of development and execution.

With a focus on QHSE excellence, you'll champion a culture of safe work practices and behaviours that set the benchmark across the campaign. This is your opportunity to drive complex offshore operations, lead a team of specialists and deliver results with precision and pride.

Your key responsibilities include:

Pre-Execution Readiness

Lead the complete preparation of offshore hook-up and commissioning scopes—including scope definition, resource planning, permitting, isolations, materials, and documentation

Champion HSE excellence by ensuring contractor targets are not only met, but exceeded

Team Coordination & Guidance

Facilitate alignment between onshore engineering/preparation and offshore implementation teams

Oversee workload planning and execution for offshore personnel

Provide technical and administrative leadership to execution teams to achieve project outcomes

Project Execution & Delivery

Manage and optimise offshore schedules, plans, procedures, and cost estimates

Ensure seamless implementation in line with project designs, specifications, and objectives

Drive input into HAZIDs, risk mitigation strategies, constructability reviews, and execution plans

Technical Oversight & Stakeholder Engagement

Review and validate contractor methodologies, logic block diagrams, and estimates

Prepare detailed progress reports and insights for key stakeholders

Represent the project in technical forums and liaise with clients, suppliers, vendors, and contractors

Support procurement, fabrication planning, and subcontractor selection

Coordinate industrial relations in alignment with the approved management strategy

About You

We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant Trade Qualification

Formal training in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) desirable

Extensive offshore construction/commissioning experience with a hands-on approach

Experience with offshore hook-ups

Demonstrated success in cost control, schedule management and delivery performance

Exceptional problem-solving, team management and organisational capability

Comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams and high-pressure environments
