We have an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to join our team at Azure Medical Cottesloe as a Medical Receptionist.

Prior experience as a Medical Receptionist using Best Practice software is desired, but not compulsory.

On the job training will be provided.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A professional manner and professional presentation
  • A professional, polite and articulate phone manner
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Advanced time management and multitasking capabilities
  • Excellent initiative and problem-solving skills

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Medical secretarial and reception duties; including, but not limited to, answering our busy telephone lines, greeting and checking in patients, responding to patient enquiries, and coordination of bookings for all of our Doctors, Clinical Nurses, and Specialists.
  • Patient invoicing, receipting, and end-of-day reconciliation.
  • Scanning and filing of confidential patient documents.
  • Faxing and emailing referrals and other patient documents.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy waiting room.
