Storeperson Afternoon Shift

About the role
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this full-time Storeperson role at polytec' is responsible for ensuring efficient operations in the warehouse and distribution centre. Based in Cavan, SA, the successful candidate will work on the afternoon shift, hours being 3 : 45pm - 11.51 pm Monday to Friday, playing a key role in supporting the smooth running of the business.
What you'll be doing
Receiving, inspecting and accurately processing incoming goods and materials
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
Operating forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely and effectively
Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stocktakes
Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times
Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with other duties as required
What we're looking for
Previous experience working in a warehousing or distribution environment, preferably in a similar storeperson role
Forklift licence
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
A commitment to workplace health and safety
The physical capability to perform manual handling tasks
