Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess:
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
- Able to remain calm under pressure and communicate effectively
- Ability to work with Nexar Group 20+ hours per week ongoing. We are not looking for casual employees.
- Ability to work across 5 to 7 days per week with shift lengths of min 4hrs - max 12hrs

Multiple Roles and Positions available in:
- Corporate roles
- Retail
- Events
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to support Nexar Group with 20+ hours per week across a 4 to 7 day roster.
- Good customer and client relations.
- Liaising with police and emergency response services when necessary.
- Ability to verbally de-escalate any situation.
- Risk identification and issue resolution.
- Adaptability to any situations that arise.
- Ability to deter theft and report missing assets.
- Work autonomously and in a group.
You will have:
- Good customer and client service skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Ability to report to the supervisor.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks collaboratively.
- Demonstrated ability to apply ethical standards to daily decisions.
- Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position including patrolling, responding, and restraining persons.
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Excellent communication skills are a must.
