Full job description

As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in our Housekeeping department and ensure rooms are kept super clean with attention to detail. Responsibilities extend to collaborating within the team and helping guests as needed to ensure a wonderful stay.

Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly clean all sections of guest rooms (changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, wiping surfaces) to ensure an exceptional first impression.
  • Work within established guidelines to meet impeccable standards.
  • Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organized.
  • Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Respect guest privacy and security.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure a flawless experience.
Primary responsibilities
  • Casual loading on hourly rates; base rate of $25.85 with loadings: Mon-Fri $32.31ph, Sat $38.78ph, Sun $45.24ph, Public Holidays $64.63ph.
  • Adult wages for all team members 16 years and above.
  • Supportive and fun team environment.
Skills and experience
  • Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
  • Warm, welcoming communication with guests and team members.
  • Eye for detail, time management, and pride in tasks.
  • Physically able to navigate rooms and facilities, including stairs and pathways.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Reliable transportation and availability for varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
