Job Description

We're seeking experienced Area Managers to join the Customer Fulfillment team at our Fulfillment Center in Jandakot.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and develop a team of Amazon associates in areas such as receive, stow, pick, pack, or ship within the Fulfillment Center operations.
  2. Continuously improve delivery process efficiency, ensuring quick, accurate, and cost-effective customer order fulfillment.
  3. Ensure smooth workflow operations and meet or exceed customer expectations.
  4. Manage day or night shift operations based on a 4-day on, 3-day off schedule (Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday).
  5. Maintain health and safety standards and promote a safety culture.
  6. Develop performance goals to meet customer promise expectations, accuracy, and quality standards.
  7. Collaborate with support teams like Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to meet business objectives.
  8. Establish and uphold quality control standards.
  9. Review work forecasts and plan requirements to meet operational objectives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related fields.
  • Proven management experience with sizable teams, motivating others and building relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including conducting deep process analyses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct management experience and performance oversight.
  • Experience with performance metrics and process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
