ABOUT ITM
ITM are a prominent importer and wholesaler of a wide range of tools and machinery to the retail tool industry Australia wide, distributing many market leading industrial tool brands such as - ITM, Holemaker, Multitool, M7, Drill Doctor, Worksharp, Star, Macc, Darex, NPK, Groz and Teng Tools.
We are a fully Australian owned company of over 30 years with our national head office located in Stapylton, Queensland.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join the existing field sales team, reporting to the WA State Manager.
- Manage a segment of our existing retail and industrial tool distributors, ensuring sales maintenance and growth.
- Handle high value and complex sales.
- Develop business with new customers.
- Represent the company at retail and business to business trade events with buying groups and individual stores.
- Learn to become a technical product specialist within ITM.
- Develop and drive store based initiatives to achieve market growth in Western Australia.
This is a state wide role with travel being necessary.
ABOUT YOU
- Excellent organisational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
- Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner.
