About This Role

Only About Children Camberwell are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to lead the 4‑year‑old Kinder room. The opportunity is for a Teacher level 1–5 (Teacher Award).

OAC campuses are designed to inspire 0–6‑year‑olds to grow, learn and discover with age‑specific environments. Our programs are child‑led and play‑based, embedded into daily practice with activities such as Active, Drama, Language, Music and Sustainability.

The Role

This position is in our early learning environment where teachers design and implement developmentally appropriate programs and support a fun, engaging learning atmosphere for young children.

Key Duties
  • Planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information
  • Assisting with daily room tasks – e.g., activity preparation and mealtimes
  • Ensuring high quality of services in line with the National Quality Standards
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant Government Regulations
  • Guiding team members with their professional development, individual goals and performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent ACECQA approved teaching qualification
  • Valid VIT registration (Early Childhood)
  • Experience in planning and implementing a holistic program
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Effective implementation of pedagogy in teaching practice
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check
