Yilgarn Iron Ore Project includes the sites of Koolyanobbing, Windarling and Parker Range. The Yilgarn region has a long history of iron ore mining and is located in the Shires of Yilgarn and Menzies with ore being railed to Esperance Port for export. The productive mining areas are located on the land of the Marlinyu Ghoorlie Native Title Group.

Located in the Shire of Yilgarn, Western Australia, 54 km north-northeast of the town of Southern Cross, on a 14/7 FIFO roster, you will thrive on meeting all goals and challenges, and act with fairness and integrity in all that you do.

In this role, you will:

• Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output
• Complying with Thiess's policies and procedures
• Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor
• Effectively positioning machinery to allow for efficient loading
• Setting and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Carrying out pre-start checks

• Proven experience in the maintenance of Haul trucks and associated plant equipment in a mining environment
• CAT and Komatsu experience highly desirable
• Valid Drivers Licence
• Current Standard 11
