Remote (Australia) | ~10 hrs/week | Flexible hours

Are you a skilled communicator with proven organisational skills and a passion for the creative industries? We're a volunteer-run, not-for-profit association supporting Australia's image-making professionals and we're looking for a Communications Manager to manage our team, projects, deliverables, and members.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and report to committee
  • Manage, respond to and sort emails, documents and images
  • Author and/or review member communications (email, newsletters)
  • Coordinate events, workshops, and AGM
  • Liaise with industry partners, members
  • Maintain our brand voice and website content in collaboration with our design agency
  • Assist with legal compliance and industry advocacy in collaboration with our legal partner
  • Maintain documentation and procedures

What we are looking for:

  • Self-motivation, excellent time management, and clear communication
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Trello, Zoom, Squarespace (we are happy to teach this)
  • Ability to learn and apply new systems efficiently.
  • An eye for detail and commitment to deadlines

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' of experience in communications operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
