FUNDAY Natural Sweets is on a mission to redefine the confectionery category with better-for-you, deliciously fun lollies. We're all about creating sweet treats that bring joy and are better for you. If you love creating fun, engaging content and are passionate about building a community, then we want you to join our team as aSocial Media Content Creator.

This part-time role is based in Melbourne's South East suburbs, requiring in-office work three days per week. You'll thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment, collaborating closely with our marketing, events, and partnership teams to create and edit engaging content that reflects Funday's tone of voice. Your work will resonate with our vibrant community while supporting both team and company goals.

Your New Day-to-Day:

  • Conceptualise, film, and edit engaging social media content that reflects FUNDAY's fun, vibrant brand. You'll be responsible for creating content that makes people smile and meet our company goals and objectives.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and adapt them in a way that resonates with FUNDAY's audience. Be proactive in creating content that is timely and relevant.
  • Join photoshoots, visit our retailers and other brand activities to capture behind-the-scenes moments and bring FUNDAY's playful personality to life online. Occasional weekend work may be required at events, activations, or special campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager and Social Media team to ensure all content aligns with posting schedule, brand goals and marketing strategies.
  • Cross functional collaboration with the event/partnership team to plan and schedule content in alignment with Funday's brand campaigns, paid strategy, product launches, and events.
  • Track social media performance and engagement. Provide insights on what's working and areas for improvement, ensuring we're always optimising our content.
  • Working with our social media team to ensure that all content adheres to the social media platform's community and social guidelines and best practices.

On Your First Day, We'd Expect You to Have:

  • Atleast 2 years of experience in social media content creation, ideally in a consumer-facing brand (food, lifestyle, or similar) or with your own community
  • Experience with Canva/Figma and CapCut
  • You're comfortable filming, editing, and posting content with a creative flair.
  • You know what's trending on social media and can adapt these trends to fit FUNDAY's playful, fun, and better-for-you vibe.
  • A genuine passion for FUNDAY's brand values and products. You'll be excited to share our story and spread joy online.
  • A strong communicator who loves interacting with people online, building relationships, and growing our community.
  • Track, analyse and report on performance and engagementand pull insights to continuously improve our content strategy.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and staying agile to meet shifting trends or demands.
  • Always brimming with fresh ideas for engaging content and new ways to keep FUNDAY top of mind for our followers.
