Job Description

We are expanding our Adelaide Behaviour Support team and are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join us in making a positive community impact.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting NDIS participants, their families, and carers to identify needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans within complex support environments
  • Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies aligned with the positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in home and community settings
  • Ensuring individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths
  • Building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants—family, carers, friends, etc.
  • Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners

Qualifications

  • A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional is preferred
  • Report writing experience
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and learning opportunities
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector
