The OpportunityReporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead – Corporate, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with the Australian Unity Corporate Platforms which include – Wealth & Capital Markets, Private Health Insurance and Enabling Functions to support end to end talent acquisition and strategic sourcing initiatives that align to our business strategies.
Our Talent Acquisition team is highly regarded within the broader People & Culture team at Australian Unity. As such we are looking for a passionate and motivated optimist, someone who is organized and focused on delivering top-shelf recruitment experiences. When you are not doing this, you are helping us identify ways in which we can do the things we do better.
We are highly flexible and work in a hybrid operating rhythm in office 3 days per week.
What you will do- Effectively engage with our candidates, hiring managers and other key stakeholders to successfully deliver key resourcing initiatives
- Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies, utilising a variety of sourcing channels to attract a diverse pool of quality talent.
- Collate, distribute and at times, present market intelligence and insights to your key portfolio groups and stakeholders
- Utilise data driven insights to influence, and at times educate our hiring managers to develop their recruiting and assessing capability.
- Be the primary contact and accountability for managing any utilisation of recruitment agency and search consultants in adherence with Australian Unity agreements and protocols
- Demonstrated talent acquisition experience managing end-to-end recruitment lifecycles ideally within an internal, RPO or agency environment.
- Exceptional candidate management and stakeholder engagement capability - from application to onboarding stage
- Expertise in talent sourcing, attracting top-tier candidates, and developing a strong talent pipeline.
- Proficient with and capable of learning new technologies and systems, ideally with experience using SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter and SEEK Premium Talent Search.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI tools and platforms in recruitment, with the ability to leverage technology for sourcing, screening, and candidate engagement.
- Proven ability to complete work in tight timeframes and the flexibility to handle changing priorities.
