As Course Coordinator for the Graduate of Health & Community Services, you will oversee the successful delivery of the Bachelor of Community Services programs. Your responsibilities include managing academic staffing, coordinating program delivery, and ensuring a student-centric experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Develop curriculum, deliver courses, and assess students.
  • Ensure programs meet industry standards and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor teaching staff and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Manage daily operations, including timetabling and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with academic policies and maintain accreditation and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in program reviews, updates, and prepare reports for academic committees.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in social work or related welfare discipline; PhD preferred, Masters acceptable, with industry experience.
  • Proven leadership experience with excellent program administration and organizational skills.
  • Experience in academic leadership roles, preferably within education, demonstrating the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor staff.
  • Familiarity with relevant education policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Experience maintaining academic quality and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Strong background in community services education, curriculum development, teaching, and program coordination, with the ability to manage both academic and operational aspects.
